William Fry Sponsors 101st Irish Junior Lawn Tennis Championships

Leading Irish law firm, William Fry, will sponsor for the seventh  year running the ‘Junior Lawn Tennis Championships of Ireland 2015’.  This is the 101st year of the tournament making it one of the oldest amateur sporting events in the world.

The championships, which feature top junior tennis talent between the ages of 12 and 18, is the most prestigious event in youth tennis in Ireland.

The William Fry Junior Lawn Tennis Championships 2015, hosted in Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club, will commence on Sunday 16th August, continue all week and culminate in the finals on Saturday 22nd August. Following the finals, the presentation of the prizes will take place on Saturday evening.

The 2015 event has been very popular to date with 500 competitors scheduled to play in 20 competitions. Notable past participants include current highest ranked Irish tennis player James McGee and Irish rugby star Johnny Sexton. Members of the public are welcome to attend this free and enjoyable family event at any time during the week.
