Sonya Manzor, Fergus Doorly and Brian Duffy have authored the Irish chapter of the Global Guide to Civil and Criminal Tax Litigation, which has recently been published online by the legal information provider, Practical Law. A hardcopy edition of the guide is due to be published in the coming weeks.

The guide is written in a question and answer style and provides a high level overview of the key practical issues in civil and criminal tax litigation, including: pre-court/pre-tribunal process, trial process, documentary evidence, witness evidence, expert evidence, closing the case in civil and criminal trials, decision, judgment or order, costs, appeals, and recent developments and proposals for reform.
