Adam is a Partner in William Fry’s Corporate Department, and specialises in public and private mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets transactions. He also advises on a range of corporate matters including equity fundraisings, reorganisations, listings and corporate governance. Adam rejoined the Firm in 2008, having spent the previous four years working with Slaughter and May in London.

Recent notable work includes advising:

  • Uniphar plc on its €150m IPO and admission to the Euronext Growth and AIM markets of Euronext Dublin and the London Stock Exchange
  • International Consolidated Airlines Group, S.A. on its €1.35bn acquisition of Aer Lingus
  • Dasos Capital Oy on the establishment of a €112m Irish forestry investment fund in partnership with the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund and the European Investment Bank
  • Riu Hotels & Resorts on its €92m acquisition of The Gresham Hotel, Dublin
  • U and I Group plc (formerly Development Securities plc) on various acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures in the Irish real estate sector
  • Essentra plc, a FTSE 250 listed plastics, packaging and components group, on its acquisition of Dakota Packaging Limited and on the reorganisation of its Irish businesses
  • The ESB Novusmodus Fund on various equity investments in the Irish cleantech sector
  • Radius Payment Solutions on its acquisition of sole control of fuel card provider Diesel Card Ireland Limited (DCI) through the purchase of its former joint venture partner’s 50% stake

Adam is qualified as a solicitor in Ireland and in England and Wales.
