Acting for customers, suppliers, innovators and their investors, David has particular expertise in technology procurement; IT and business process outsourcing; long-term commercial collaborations; and the development, protection and exploitation of intellectual property rights, both in stand-alone deals and as part of M&A transactions.
Most of his clients operate in highly-regulated and innovation-led sectors such as life sciences, financial services, IT and energy.
Representative work includes advising:
- A global leader in the micro-technology space on the IP and contractual aspects of a technology and corporate restructuring.
- Various life sciences and technology organisations on strategic collaborations and supply chain agreements.
- A next-generation big data company on licensing, consultancy and reseller agreements.
David is dual-qualified in England and joined William Fry from a Magic Circle global law firm, where he practised in London and Brussels.
