Myra is a Corporate Partner and former Managing Partner of the Firm. She has a broad corporate practice specialising in mergers & acquisitions, public takeovers, IPOs and capital market transactions. She has a particular expertise on advising technology companies on fundraising, exit strategy and trade sales. She also advises companies (including family businesses) and boards of directors on corporate governance, general compliance and troublesome issues.

- On the IPOs of IONA Technologies, Riverdeep, Esat, Baltimore Technologies, Norkom, CPL Resources, Smurfit Kappa and Dalata
- on Green REIT plc’s €400m placing and open offer
- Skillsoft on the acquisitions of Thirdforce and SumTotal
- The Now Factory on its sale to IBM
- Fenergo Group Shareholders on the disposal of controlling stake to Insight Venture and Aquiline Capital
- Guerbet Group on its acquisition of the CMDS business of Mallinckrodt
- Fairfax Financial Holdings, WL Ross, Kennedy Wilson and others on the €1.6bn purchase of a 34% equity stake in Bank of Ireland.
Myra is a non-executive director of the University College Dublin Foundation and a council member of the Irish Institute of Chartered Accountants. She is a former director of the Irish Institute of Directors and of the Irish Road Safety Authority.
Myra is consistently ranked as a leading lawyer by international legal directories and was awarded the ‘Best in Corporate Governance’ Award at the 2015 Euromoney Europe Women in Business Law Awards.
