Myra is a Corporate Partner and former Managing Partner of the Firm. She has a broad corporate practice specialising in mergers & acquisitions, public takeovers, IPOs and capital market transactions.  She has a particular expertise on advising technology companies on fundraising and exit strategies including trade sales.  She also advises companies and boards of directors on corporate governance and general compliance/issues.

Significant transactions include advising on:

  • the IPOs of IONA Technologies, Riverdeep, Esat, Baltimore Technologies, Norkom, CPL Resources, Smurfit Kappa and Dalata
  • the Green REIT plc’s €400m placing and open offer
  • the Now Factory on its sale to IBM
  • Fenergo Group Shareholders on the disposal of controlling stake to Insight Venture and Aquiline Capital
  • Guerbet Group on its acquisition of the CMDS business of Mallinckrodt
  • Netwatch Holdings DAC on its global merger with Californian based National Monitoring Centre, CalAtlantic in Texas and UK based Onwatch Multifire in a deal funded by private equity firm Riverside.

Myra is a non-executive director of the University College Dublin Foundation and a council member of the Irish Institute of Chartered Accountants.  She is co-chair of the Law Firm Management Committee of the International Bar Association.
