  • HAZELWOOD DEMESNE: Advised on the sale of Hazelwood Demesne to Sazerac Company. HazelwoodDemesne operates the Lough Gill Distillery in County Sligo, a significant historical site on which it created its premium Irish whiskey brand Athrú. Sazerac is one of the world’s largest distilled spirits companies with premium brands such as Buffalo TraceBourbon and Paddy Irish Whiskey.
  • GLANBIA IRELAND (now known as Tirlán): Advised on Tirlán’s joint venture with Royal A-ware, a Netherlands based global cheese and dairy producer, to build a new continental cheese manufacturing facility in Co. Kilkenny.
  • DIAGEO IRELAND: Advising Diageo on all aspects of managing its substantial well- known brand portfolios including construction advice, competition law, commercial agreements, advertising, data protection, GDPR, licensing and various other matters
  • VALEO FOODS: Advising Valeo Foods, Ireland’s largest ambient food group, on a broad spectrum of commercial agreements for its consumer brands including agency, distribution, outsourced manufacturing and marketing services and white label supply.
  • DELIVEROO IRELAND LIMITED: Advising on all its advertising, contractual, consumer and regulatory obligations(including the pricing, advertising, promotional programs, marketing and promotion of alcohol or products ancillary to the sale of alcohol).
  • FLIPDISH LIMITED: Advised Flipdish Limited, a market leading food-ordering platform, on its €85 million investment from a series of investors at a valuation of €1 billion, making Flipdish an Irish “unicorn”. The investment will allow Flipdish to grow its international footprint and invest in product development.
  • NESTLÉ UK & IRELAND: Advised the world’s leading nutrition, health and wellness company, on its Nestlé Irish pension scheme, and on an EU cross-border scheme merger, a novel transaction structure for Nestlé and one of the first of its kind in Ireland.
  • DAWN MEATS: Acted for Dawn Meats in respect of its acquisition of Dunbia group. The deal saw Dawn Meats become the largest meat processor in volume terms in Ireland.
  • DUNNES STORES: Advising Dunnes Stores on a range of commercial matters including technology procurement agreements in relation to gift vouchers and grocery website withBuy4now; various consulting and services agreement including with Hitachi Consulting (UK); and various aspects of Dunnes Stores’ website terms and conditions.
  • EUROPEAN INVESTMENT BANK: Advised EIB on the term and revolving credit facilities it provided to the Carbery Group in connection with its development of a cheese manufacturing facility in Ballineen, Co. Cork
