She advises on employment matters with particular experience in advising on the employment aspects of corporate restructuring, the termination of employment and in relation to employment issues in the public sector.
Recent significant matters include advising:
- Advising Boots Ireland on the successful defence against a compliance notice issued in respect of alleged breaches of the Organisation of Working Time legislation.
- Drafting several pieces of secondary legislation (now enacted) and Heads of Bill for a significant piece of proposed primary legislation.
- Successfully representing SOLAS, Further Education & Training Authority, in a high Court challenge of aspects of the statutory framework regulating the construction industry in Ireland.
