Myra is a Corporate / M&A Consultant and former Managing Partner.

Myra has a broad corporate practice specialising in mergers & acquisitions, public takeovers, IPOs, capital market transactions and corporate restructurings. She advises companies and boards of directors on corporate governance and strategic issues.

Significant transactions include advising:

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice on its US$28 billion recommended takeover of UDG Healthcare plc
Amgen Inc, on its recommended takeover of Horizon Therapeutics plc
Cpl Resources plc on its sale to Japanese publicly listed company, Outsourcing Inc
Fenergo on its sale to Bridgepoint Advisers Limited, Astorg Asset Management S.à.r.l. and the management team
FINEOS Corporation Holding plc on its IPO on the Australian Securities Exchange
The Irish Times DAC on its acquisition of RIP.ie
The sellers of Beacon Hospital to Macquarie Asset Management
Harvey Performance Company LLC on its acquisition of ATA group
Skillsoft Group on its restructuring through US Chapter 11 proceedings.

Myra has been granted Patents of Precedence by the Supreme Court of Ireland in recognition of her longstanding legal career and expertise, conferring the right to use the title of Senior Counsel. Myra was awarded Irish M&A Lawyer of the Year at the UK IFLR Women in Business Law Awards 2025.

Myra is on the Management Board of the International Bar Association, ‘the Global voice of the Legal Profession’. She is a Board member of the Irish National Treasury Management Agency.
