Sean is a tax partner with over 20 years’ experience in advising domestic and international clients on financial services tax matters, including investment management, structured finance, banking, capital markets and private equity. In this field, Sean has advised some of the world’s leading financial institutions and asset management companies.
Sean joined William Fry from a large international corporate law firm, where he was partner and head of their Irish FS tax practice. He was also previously an FS tax partner in another leading Irish law firm.
Sean is a member of the Irish Funds Domestic Tax Committee, the Irish Funds International Tax Committee and the Tax Committee of the Irish Debt Securities Association. He is a regular contributor on financial servicers tax related matters.
Sean is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and is also a Chartered Tax Adviser with the Irish Tax Institute.
