William Fry LLP is very proud to have acted for Timber Frame Projects Limited t/a Timber Frame Ireland in its successful defence before the Irish High Court of an application to enforce an adjudicator’s award.

This significant judgment, secured by a cross departmental team led by Jarleth Heneghan, Partner in Projects & Construction and Gerard James, Partner in Litigation & Investigations supported by Cassandra Byrne, Consultant and Eilis Quinlivan, Associate.

The decision is only the second time an application to enforce an adjudicator’s award has been successfully resisted before the Irish Courts since 2016. This judgment represents a significant development in the High Court’s interpretation of the Construction Contracts Act 2013 and the scope of payment disputes in respect of the statutory adjudication process.
