Alan advises clients across the full spectrum of real estate transactions, including the property aspects of banking and corporate transactions. He has particular expertise in the social housing sector and has advised a leading Approved Housing Body on numerous forward sale and forward funding structures for purpose-built social housing developments across Dublin and Kildare.
Alan also advises state bodies, investors and financial institutions on the acquisition, disposal and leasing of commercial, large-scale residential and mixed-use real estate assets. He has significant experience in the private rental sector and portfolio transactions.
Experience:
- Advising a state body in the acquisition of a substantial landholding in North-West Dublin.
- Advising an Approved Housing Body on a number of strategic forward-funded housing developments across Dublin and Kildare, including the financing of those developments*
- Advising one of Ireland’s largest mixed-use developers on the leasing of commercial space within their Adamstown development to a range of retail occupiers*
- Advising the same mixed-use developer on the sale of retail units, subject to occupational leases, to an international investor*
- Advising a global investment giant on the acquisition of a large residential property portfolio in Ireland*
