It is reported that London’s Battersea Power Station has now been formally put up for sale. As previously reported, the UK High Court appointed Ernst & Young as administrator to the site, following an application brought by NAMA and Lloyds Bank.
Hutchinson Whampoa, which is currently redeveloping the nearby Lots Road power station, is reported to be interested in acquiring the property. Other interested investors are understood to include the Berkeley Group, Land Securities, British Land and Middle Eastern sovereign wealth funds.
