Bryan Bourke Appointed as New Managing Partner of William Fry

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Bryan Bourke as Managing Partner of the Firm having been elected earlier this year. Bryan joined William Fry in 1993 and became a Partner in 1999. He has extensive experience in corporate transactional work, having advised on some of the largest public and private M&A / takeover deals in Ireland in recent years. He also advises on joint ventures, fundraisings, restructurings and broader corporate governance issues.

Speaking on his appointment to the role of Managing Partner, Bryan Bourke said, “I am delighted to have been elected to this hugely important role for our Firm. Firstly, I would like to extend my gratitude, as well as that of my colleagues, to Myra Garrett. Myra has done an excellent job driving the Firm forward over the past six years through some of the most challenging economic times this country has known, her hard work and dedication is valued by the entire staff in Ireland and in our international offices in London, New York and Silicon Valley. It is a real privilege to lead William Fry as we begin to write the next chapter in the Firm’s history and I welcome the opportunities presented by my tenure.”
