Distressed Assets Update - April 2012

April 5, 2012

Welcome to the April 2012 issue of our Distressed Assets e-zine.

In this month’s edition we consider the increasing usage of pre-pack insolvency sales in Ireland. We also report on the recently announced details of the Irish Government’s asset disposal programme involving the disposal of some State owned assets. As the Irish banks continue the disposal of their non-core assets, we provide an update on recent developments of note.  We also report on the latest significant developments at the National Asset Management Agency (“NAMA”), including its proposal to establish an Irish Regulated Qualifying Investor Fund as a vehicle to manage its sizeable property and property related portfolio.

We hope you find this edition of our Distressed Assets e-zine informative. Please feel free to forward it to any of your colleagues who may be interested in subscribing to the ezine.
