Proposed Bill  Purpose as per Legislative Programme  Expected Publication Date 
Workplace Relations Bill To provide for reform of statutory Workplace Relations Bodies In the Spring session
Protected Disclosure in the Public Interest Bill To provide protection against reprisals and victimisation and redress for workers who disclose information regarding serious wrongdoing in the workplace In the Spring session. A General Scheme has been published.
Employment Permits Bill To consolidate existing legislation, to take account of evolving jurisprudence and to cater for future accessions to the EU In the Spring session
Family Leave Bill To transpose EU Directive 2010/18/EU on Parental Leave and to consolidate with amendments all family leave legislation In the Spring session
Gender Recognition Bill To provide for legal recognition of the acquired gender of transgender people 2013
Social Welfare and Pensions Bill To provide for amendments to the Pensions Act 1990 to change the current rules for the distribution of assets in the wind-up of defined benefit pension schemes that are underfunded and to provide for a number of other miscellaneous amendments. It will also provide for amendments to the social welfare code arising from Budget 2013 and from policy, administrative, operational and control matters 2013
