Ezine - IDEA - IP and Technology Update - August 2010

August 13, 2010

Welcome to the latest issue of IDEA!

We have lots of good news from the IP team here at William Fry. We are busier than ever. We are delighted that both Ann Henry and Leo Moore have been elected as partners with the firm and that Becky Coyle has been made an associate since we were with you last. We now have four partners working full time in the IP sphere, along with all our associates and solicitors, making us the largest IP team in Ireland. This increased demand for the services we offer is proof positive that innovation is alive and well in Ireland and that the business community is taking the prudent course to ensure that their intellectual capital is protected. IP is after all the most important asset of any business and the success of all Ireland’s future can be assured by it.

Our articles in this edition range from what to put in a contract for cloud computing, to a warning for employers to protect their confidential information, to a salutary lesson on the dangers of illegal downloading. We hope you find them of interest.

As always we are here to help with all your IP issues and we look forward to hearing from you.
