Omnibus II (Directive 2014/51/EU) was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 22 May 2014.
The text is substantially the same as the text adopted by the Council on 14 April 2014, and Omnibus II entered into force on 23 May 2014 (the day following its publication in the Official Journal).
The Directive must be transposed into national law by 31 March 2015 and applied from 1 January 2016.
