The Innovation Taskforce Report (“Taskforce Report”) was launched on Thursday 11 March 2010 by An Taoiseach, Brian Cowen. It contains a range of proposals to encourage the growth of innovation focused Irish companies and to entice foreign investment into Ireland. The key aim of the Innovation Taskforce is that by 2020, Ireland will be an innovation hub with a significant number of large, world leading, innovation-intensive companies, each having a global footprint, many of which will be Irish headquartered and owned.
