Update on NAMA’s Assets List

November 11, 2011

In September’s e-zine we reported that NAMA had published a list of 850 Irish and UK properties for sale (click here to view article). The list has now grown to 892 properties, including a number of properties previously owned by developer Seán Dunne. NAMA is understood to have acquired €350 million worth of loans made by Irish banks to Mr Dunne and is reported to be selling an office block in Ballsbridge purchased in 2005 for €130 million; the DCD Group headquarters in Merrion Square; office blocks on Herbert Street and Sir John Rogerson’s Quay; apartments in Foxrock and Stillorgan; and sites at Sandymount, Rathfarnham and North Wall Quay. A number of developer Paddy Kelly’s properties are also for sale, including two Dublin pubs; industrial units; sites in Cavan, Cork, Dublin, Meath and Wicklow; and developments in the UK.

NAMA is also reported to be selling up to 83 Irish hotels and 60 foreign hotels on which it has loans.
