Commenting on the rankings, Bryan Bourke, Head of Corporate at William Fry stated, “The M&A market, domestically and in Europe,  is showing signs of  recovery with European Q3 figures up by up by 51.3% on the same period last year by deal value.   William Fry’s M&A team is delighted to have had such a major role in this years stronger deal flow. Over the last few months, we have advised on some of the most significant deals in the market, including the US$1.2bn sale of Skillsoft, the €1.7bn acquisition of Impress Group B.V by Ardagh Glass , ESB’s proposed acquisition of NIE  and the sale of Goodbody Stockbrokers.   This activity further bolsters the experience  we have gained from years of involvement in the most complex and challenging transactions in the Irish market.”
