William Fry Ranked Ireland’s Most Innovative Law Firm

William Fry has been ranked as Ireland’s most innovative law firm and the 34th most Innovative European law firm by the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Report which was published today.

The report, which ranks the 50 most innovative law firms in Europe, ranked William Fry in 34th place overall, the highest Irish law firm ranked. The Report highlighted a number of William Fry innovations in the business of law as well as legal expertise [including;

  • Innovation in Restructuring – for advising a group of bondholders on the largest court-ordered liquidation (GTLK) in the history of the Irish State;
  • Innovation in Private Capital – for advising Elavon on the first cross-border conversion into Ireland of an entity incorporated in another EEA member state.
  • Innovation in Outside Counsel Management – where the firm collaborated with Mercer Global Investments to develop ‘best in class’ fund documents for Mercer’s Global Investments European fund solutions business.

In addition to featuring in the Report rankings, William Fry’s Dublin based law firm was also shortlisted in three awards categories at the FT Innovative Awards last night which was held at the Natural History Museum, London.
