William Fry Sponsorship to Benefit Young Talent

August 17, 2012

William Fry, one of Ireland’s leading corporate law firms, will sponsor for the third year running the ‘William Fry Junior Lawn Tennis Championships of Ireland 2012’.

The championships, which feature Ireland’s top junior tennis stars between the ages of 12 and 18, is the most prestigious event in youth tennis – acting as a scouting process for budding professionals and providing exposure for emerging Irish talent.

“Fostering young talent and facilitating all Ireland championships such as this is vital for the growth and development of our young sports stars. These young athletes are working day and night for the opportunity to go on and represent their country and hopefully follow in the footsteps of Conor Niland and Louk Sorensen and make it to the Grand Slams someday. These future stars should be encouraged and supported and we are delighted once again to play our small part as title sponsor of the William Fry Junior Lawn Tennis Championships of Ireland.” Myra Garrett, Managing Partner of William Fry.

The William Fry Junior Lawn Tennis Championships 2012 will take place in Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club from Sunday, 19th August to Saturday, 25th August. The 2012 edition has been the most popular to date with 460 competitors playing in over 500 matches at the club throughout the week and supporters are welcome to attend at any stage.
