Padraic is a Partner in William Fry's Banking & Finance Department. Padraic has extensive experience in acting for lenders and borrowers in relation to corporate lending, real estate finance (development and investment), acquisition finance and receivables finance.  Padraic joined William Fry in 2018 having spent 11 years in another large Irish law firm. 

Recent transactions Padraic has led on the finance side include: 

  • Real Estate Finance: Acted for the purchaser/borrower in financing the acquisition of the former DIT Kevin Street campus.  Further detail about this transaction is available publicly here.
  • Real Estate Finance: Acted for the lender in relation to the refinance and subsequent disposal of the Tesco main distribution centre for Ireland. Further detail about this transaction is available publicly here.
  • Corporate Lending: Act for a number of publicly listed companies in relation to their long-term debt finance arrangements including Advanz Pharma, DCC plc, Uniphar plc and Mincon Group plc.
  • Corporate Lending: Act for various domestic and international financial institution lenders (on a bilateral, club and syndicated basis) on financing many of Ireland's largest domestic and international corporate organisations.

  • Receivables Finance: Regularly act for a number of Irish and international invoice finance providers and large corporates on invoice discounting (recourse and non-recourse), supply chain finance, reverse invoice discounting and supplier payment facilities.
  • Receivables Finance: Regularly act for financial institutions in relation to their risk share arrangements with other banks or invoice finance providers in relation to the above range of receivables finance products.
