An article contributed by Barry Conway and Aoife Kavanagh of our Corporate Department has been published in the May 2015 edition (Vol. 16, No. 2) of Business Law International, a journal published by the International Bar Association. The article is entitled ‘A New Departure in Irish Company Law: the Companies Act 2014 – an Overview’ and details the main changes brought about by the new companies legislation. It also examines the extent to which changes brought about by the Act reflect changes already introduced in company law in other jurisdictions.
