Ireland and Singapore signed a tax treaty on 28 October 2010 which provides an agreement for the avoidance of double taxation between the two countries. The signing of this tax treaty with Singapore, brings to 61 the number of comprehensive tax treaties which Ireland has signed. The expansion of Ireland’s tax treaty network reflects the priority that Ireland affords in building a strong tax treaty network to aid companies located in Ireland with their international business operations.
