Welcome to the August issue of our Legal News.
This month we report on a number of recent decisions of the Irish courts, including an important ruling regarding the entitlement of a bankrupt to defend legal proceedings and a decision on limitation periods in claims for financial loss. We take a look at new draft building control legislation which is intended to come into effect later this year. We also provide a round-up of recent updates in the technology sector, including the European Parliament’s rejection of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement and ComReg’s new guidance note on the advertising of Internet unlimited data allowance packages.
