The Department of Health and Children (the “Department”) has now shifted its strategy in relation to the H1N1 virus known as swine flu, from “containment” to “treatment”. Accordingly, efforts by the Department to contain the spread of swine flu in Ireland have ceased and instead efforts are now focusing on treating new cases as they arise.
