Táillte Éireann Bill

To merge the Property Registration Authority, the Valuation Office and the Ordnance Survey Office.

Landlord and Tenant Law Reform Bill

To update and streamline the general law relating to landlord and tenant.

Heads of bill approved; work is continuing

Industrial Development (Amendment) Bill

To take account of the Supreme Court judgment in Reid vs IDA and the Attorney General to ensure that the IDA has the necessary statutory powers to undertake their property functions (in particular, compulsory purchase orders).

Mortgages Special Court Bill / Courts (Mortgage Arrears) Bill

To establish a dedicated new court to sensitively and expeditiously handle mortgage arrears and other personal insolvency cases, by imposing solutions on the parties including those recommended by the new Mortgage Arrears Resolution Service. The hearings of this court could be held in private if requested by the debtor.

To consolidate and modernise the range of legislation concerning commercial rates levied by local authorities.
