William Fry Announces 54 New Jobs in Continued Expansion Drive

William Fry today announced that over the last 12 months the Firm has made 54 new appointments across a number of key areas including Corporate, Tax, Financial Services and Real Estate –  bringing the Firm’s headcount to 420.  The Firm will continue its growth in 2015 with the planned recruitment of an additional 50 staff through the year and has already recruited 28 Trainees who are due to join the Firm’s Trainee Programme by September 2015.
 
Senior appointments during 2014 and January 2015 include Tax Partners Ted McGrath,  who joined the Firm from KPMG, and Shane Wallace who joined from Deloitte, as well as senior Corporate Partner Eavan Saunders who returned to Dublin from leading international law firm Ashurst. Last year also saw William Fry hire Aircraft Financing Partner David Maughan from Maples and Calder. Other  appointments range from Partner through to newly qualified solicitors and reflect the on-going demand experienced by the Firm for specialised legal and tax services.

 William Fry’s head office is currently located at Fitzwilton House, Wilton Place, Dublin 2.  The move to 2 Grand Canal Square is expected to take place in early 2015.   The Firm also has offices in London, New York and Silicon Valley. William Fry is consistently ranked as a leader in corporate law in Ireland and was awarded Law Firm of the Year 2014 at the Irish Law Awards.
