We are delighted to have received some good news that we can share with our clients.  William Fry’s (Re)Insurance Department has won three recent awards, all of which were as a result of testimonials that our clients gave on our behalf.  We would like to thank all of our clients for their ongoing support and testimonials, and look forward to continuing to prove that we are worthy of our mantle as the market-leading law firm in the (re)insurance sector in Ireland.

The department’s two main awards so far in 2014 came in the form of retaining our long-standing status as a Tier 1 Insurance Department with Legal 500 and a Band 1 Insurance Department with Chambers Europe.  The following are some of the client testimonials that helped secure this recognition:

• Legal 500, EMEA (Tier 1 Insurance Department): John Larkin has ‘a great understanding of the regulator’, and Eoin Caulfield is ‘particularly strong’.
• Chambers Europe (Band 1 Insurance Department): One client said that “the team is impressive. John Larkin also received an important individual award, and in doing so became the first person in Europe to win the International Law Office Client Choice Award for his work in the Irish (re)insurance sector for the third year running. 

The (Re)Insurance Department could not provide such high levels of service and expertise without the support of colleagues across the firm.  Given the standard of service these colleagues deliver, it came as no surprise when William Fry won Irish Law Firm of the Year 2014 at the Irish Law Awards.  The fact that this was the second time in three years that William Fry won this award shows just how consistently the firm delivers exceptional standards of service.
