William Fry has been awarded Ireland Trademark Firm of the Year at the inaugural Global IP Awards in London, presented by IAM and WTR two of the leading international Intellectual Property (IP) publications globally.  The award recognises William Fry’s market leading position in the area of trademark law.

With 15 full-time journalists and dedicated researchers based in Europe, the US and Asia, IAM and WTR provide in-depth reporting and analysis of developments in all the world’s major IP markets. In coming to its decision on which firms to recognise at the awards, the editorial team considered what the market was telling them throughout 2018, as well as a number of strategic data points.

Bryan Bourke, William Fry’s Managing Partner commented, “This is an important and prestigious award to win, and one that we are very proud of.  Our Intellectual Property team prides itself on its expertise and experience on contentious and non-contentious cases.  2018 was another strong year for the team with a significant number of standout cases and clients.”
