Ivor is a Corporate Partner and Head of the William Fry London office since 2017. He has transactional experience over a 20 year period. He specialises in Corporate M&A, fundraisings (from a company and investor perspective), joint ventures and shareholder structuring matters, restructurings, venture capital/debt and general corporate matters. He has significant expertise in advising technology and fintech companies from set-up through to realisation and on all aspects of the business growth cycle. As Head of the London office, Ivor continues to work on Irish law matters with longstanding and new clients alongside management of that office and the firm's UK strategy.

Recent deals include advising:

  • Pollen Street Capital on the sale of its entire equity and debt interest in the Castlehaven Group and related lending platform.
  • Venture Debt provider Harbert Growth Capital on its Irish transactions and operations.
  • Dualway Coaches Limited on the sale of the entire issued share capital of Irish City Tours Limited to Exponent Private Equity LLP through its SPV – Big Bus Tours Ireland Limited.
  • Opium Ventures, Elkstone Partners and Qiming Venture Partners on their acquisition of an undisclosed stake in PrivaPath Diagnostics Limited, doing business as LetsGetChecked.
  • Supply Finance Limited on it various funding rounds and acquisition transaction including of the Danish Omniveta Group.
  • The sellers on the sale of the Perseus Telecom Group to GTT Communications, Inc.
  • Future Finance Loan Corporation Limited on its various fundraising activities including its Series B equity and lending capital investment for in aggregate €150m from investors including QED Investors, Colchis Capital, DW Partners, Fenway Summer Ventures and Blackstone Strategic Opportunity Fund and others
  • Sodexo Group on the purchase of Comfort Keepers Homecare franchise in Ireland through the acquisition of Elder Home Care Limited and Home Care Training Limited
  • International Consolidated Airlines Group S.A. on certain aspects of its €1.4bn acquisition of the Aer Lingus Group plc
  • The sellers, including the Founders and Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Appliances Corporation (Spimaco-Addwaeih), on the sale of EirGen Pharma Limited for $135m
  • The sellers, including Royal Bank of Scotland, Mount Kellet Capital and OIF, on the sale of Jurys Inn to Lonestar for €900m
  • The Irish Infrastructure Fund (managed by AMP Capital) on the purchase of Towercom Limited, Ireland’s largest independent wireless telecoms infrastructure company.
