Aisling provides a full range of services including advising on acquisitions, disposals, developments and investments. She regularly leads on the commercial real estate components of corporate M&A transactions and renewable energy transactions.
She also specialises in landlord and tenant representation and works with a number of institutional landlords and various UK and International retailers. She has vast experience advising on landlord and tenant matters (including leasing, consent applications, disposals, service of break notices and general estate/ portfolio management).
Recent significant work includes advising:
- An institutional client on the acquisition of a number of regional shopping centres and the ongoing portfolio management across these centres;
- Grant Thornton Advisors LLC and New Mountain Capital on all real estate components relating to their agreement to combine Grant Thornton Advisors with Grant Thornton Ireland’s advisory and tax businesses;
- MML Growth Capital Partners Ireland and the Kyte Powertech on all real estate matters relating to its sale to R&S Group;
- EirGrid on the property aspects of the Celtic Interconnector Project;
- Acting for Domino’s Pizza Group plc on its acquisition of Shorecal Limited, the largest Domino’s franchise business in Ireland;
- Uniphar plc on its leasing arrangements regarding a purpose build warehouse (322,000 square feet);
- Poundland, Currys/ PC World, Krispy Kreme, B&Q, Next and various other retailers on all leasing matters across their respective portfolios; and
- Advised Carphone Warehouse on the surrender of leases of 78 stores, which was carried out in less than a 12-month period.
