Last week we reported on the Planning and Development aspects of the Government’s second COVID-19 emergency Bill, since enacted as the Emergency Measures in the Public Interest (COVID-19) Act 2020.  The planning elements of the new emergency legislation are intended to stabilise the system of planning and development in the face of COVID-19-related social and administrative disruption.
