The Irish Government has recently launched “Innovation Fund Ireland”, a €500 million fund which aims to:
- Increase the availability of smart risk capital for early stage and high-growth companies
- Attract additional top-tier venture capital fund managers to Ireland
- Attract, leverage and develop entrepreneurial talent
The Innovation Fund highlights the Irish Government’s continuing commitment to further develop Ireland as a Global Innovation Hub. The provision of ‘smart capital’ to support vibrant companies is a crucial pillar of Ireland’s Smart Economy.
