We are a people business. People are William Fry's greatest asset and key to our continued success. We strive to create and foster a positive, respectful and healthy work environment where everyone can meet their potential and have a sense of pride in their place of work. In support of this, we invest in policies and programmes that promote the recruitment, retention and development of our staff. Workplace programmes incorporate health & wellbeing, learning & development, as well as diversity & inclusion.

Learning & Development

William Fry fosters a strong learning culture, through structured training programmes, ongoing continuous professional development, and the commitment of everyone in the Firm to support and mentoring.

Our Learning and Development department proactively manages employees’ professional development with initiatives aimed at developing strong competencies across a broad range of legal, business, and management areas.  Each department has a training Partner who works with the L&D team to agree priorities and in any given year we would typically hold around 120 legal training sessions.   Furthermore, external speakers, trainers and coaches are frequently invited to deliver training and provide specialized input.
